Investors Real Estate Trust
Investors Real Estate Trust is a self-advised equity Real Estate Investment Trust, or REIT, organized under the laws of North Dakota. Since its formation in 1970, its business has consisted of owning and operating income-producing real estate properties. It is structured as an Umbrella Partnership Real Estate Investment Trust, or UPREIT, and it conducts its day-to-day business operations through its operating partnership, IRET Properties, a North Dakota Limited Partnership. Its investments mainly consist of multifamily and healthcare properties located primarily in the upper Midwest states of Minnesota and North Dakota.
